VMedD GmbH was founded in June 2020 with the aim of developing and producing innovative health-oriented sensor technology. Our focus is contactless monitoring of important vital signs combined with fall and movement detection.

Areas of application are retirement homes, assisted living, nursing homes and hospitals.

As an innovative company, we plan to open up new areas of application for our products and ideas in the future.

MERAMIS – SEMECO-B Medical Radar Microsystems:

The aim of this project is to develop radar-based platforms for medical imaging as a proof-of-concept.

Using two different applications, the range of possible uses of a medical radar system is to be researched in order to create a starting point for further applications.

EFRE funding market launch:

Market launch of sensor that detects falls, presence and movements from a distance without contact. The aim of the project is to successfully place this product in the market for outpatient and inpatient care.

The development of a prototype for the contactless measurement of vital signs is funded.

The R&D project includes the development of a prototype including the associated evaluation software. The development and testing of the prototype will serve the purpose of testing, selecting and further developing the technology and preparing an innovative solution.

The funding from the European Union will be used to promote an innovative solution for the area “Ambient Assisted Living” that will sustainably improve the quality of life of people in need of care.
